Qualifications:
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Highly organized and takes a proactive approach to work-site planning and resource allocation
- Physically fit and able to provide hands-on assistance
- Experience with heavy equipment and small tools
- Valid First Aid Certificate is an asset
- Experience as a Civil Foreman overseeing excavation & laying of pipework is an asset.
- Experience in setting elevations, grades and alignments of underground utilities is an asset.
- Safety Oriented and has knowledge of OH&S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead civil crews and subcontractors.
- Maintain daily performance expectations.
- Plan daily job duties and delegate tasks to site crews.
- Read and interpret civil engineered drawings and contract specifications
- Layout work, plan and execute various types of excavations and oversee layout of pipework.
- Efficiently schedule materials, equipment, crews and or subcontractors.
- Maintain good employee morale, communication, and teamwork.
- Provide management with daily updates to all tracking and reporting systems.
- Ensure the quality of work meets contractual specifications and quality control.

LABOURER

Qualifications:
- Reasonable level physical fitness
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Pipe and/or heavy equipment experience is a major asset
Responsibilities:
- Perform various duties that require physical labour, such as lifting, digging, and loading construction materials.
- Use various hand and power tools.

TRAFFIC CONTROL

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Control Person to join our team. As a Traffic Control Person, you will be responsible for directing traffic at construction sites to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Traffic Control Person is preferred but not required. (Training will be provided)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic using hand signals, flags, or signs
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust accordingly
- Ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians by managing traffic in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all traffic control procedures and guidelines
- Set up and take down traffic control equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers

- Operate an excavator to complete civil works including sanitary sewer manholes & pipe, storm manholes & pipe.
- Operate other heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in supporting the planning, and implementation of various municipal utility projects.

- Work closely with a team of experienced professional engineers; and have the opportunity to contribute to the success of projects that impact the daily lives of community members.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
